Since 2014 Blue Barrel Cider has planted 154 Fruit trees and 460 native whips around Nottingham with the help of local residents and volunteers and the amazing support of Trees for Cities.
Next week marks the start of National Tree Week and we will be celebrating this by planting apple and pear trees on Friday at Woodthorpe park with Nottingham City Homes. If you want to get involved, drop us a line.

Why is this important?

If we want to save our planet, there has never been a better time to plant trees!
Trees helps reduce pollution and carbon dioxide levels leading to global warming by releasing more oxygen into the atmosphere.
It is said that one average sized tree alone produces enough oxygen in a year for a family of four!
Plant more trees and make Nottingham look green too. Plus free fruit in the future too! Win win
If you know of any areas which could do with some trees or a local school, give us a shout and we might be able to get some free trees to you.

Join us in the green revolution!
